1. Purpose of the Platform

Our Future operates this digital platform to support collaboration and visibility for community initiatives in the places where we work.

The platform allows organisations and community groups to share information about projects, initiatives or opportunities where they are seeking support. This may include requests for funding, volunteers, professional services, partnerships or other forms of assistance.

Our Future’s role is limited to providing a digital space through which organisations and supporters can connect.

2. No Verification or Endorsement

Projects and opportunities listed on the platform are submitted by third parties.

Our Future:

• does not verify or conduct due diligence on organisations, individuals or projects listed
• does not endorse or recommend any project, organisation or opportunity
• does not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of information submitted
• does not assess the financial, legal or safeguarding status of organisations using the platform

Users should not assume that projects listed have been reviewed, approved or endorsed by Our Future.

3. Responsibility for Due Diligence

Any organisation or individual choosing to engage with a project or opportunity listed on the platform does so at their own discretion and risk.

Users are responsible for carrying out their own appropriate checks before:

• providing funding or donations
• offering volunteer support
• entering into partnerships or collaborations
• providing professional or in-kind services

This may include verifying organisational status, governance arrangements, safeguarding policies, financial controls, and legal compliance.

4. Relationships Between Users

Our Future is not a party to any agreement, contract or arrangement made between users of the platform.

Any collaboration, funding arrangement or other relationship formed through the platform is made directly between the relevant parties.

Our Future does not act as an agent, intermediary or representative of any organisation using the platform.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Our Future accepts no responsibility or liability for:

• the accuracy or reliability of information provided by users
• the conduct of organisations or individuals using the platform
• the outcome of any collaborations, donations, or partnerships formed
• any loss, damage, dispute or claim arising from interactions between users

6. User Responsibilities

Users submitting projects or opportunities must ensure that:

• the information provided is accurate and not misleading
• they are authorised to submit the information on behalf of their organisation
• the activities described comply with relevant laws and regulations
• any activities involving volunteers, children or vulnerable people meet appropriate safeguarding standards

Users must not post content that is fraudulent, misleading, unlawful or harmful.

7. Moderation and Removal

Our Future reserves the right to review, edit or remove any listing that it considers:

• misleading or inaccurate
• inappropriate or harmful
• inconsistent with the purpose of the platform
• potentially unlawful

Our Future is under no obligation to host or maintain any listing.

8. Data Protection and Privacy

Personal data submitted through the platform will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws, including the UK GDPR.

Information submitted may be visible to other users for the purpose of enabling collaboration.

Users should only submit personal data they are authorised to share.

9. Changes to the Platform

Our Future may modify, suspend or discontinue the platform at any time.
